The only Christmas play that probably would fit your needs is called A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Many local theatres put it up traditionally and along with It's a Wonderful Life, is shown in it's movie form with Alistair Sim on TV at Christmas time.

Charlotte has the Broadway Lights series every year. You can either season tickets or individual tickets. The plays are the touring companies of the actual Broadway plays, which is where many big Broadway actors got their starts. This year, they're having Edward Scissorhands, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Lion King, Mama Mia, Putnam County Spelling Bee (That was terrific!), Spam-A-Lot and Sweet Charity.
