2007 MLB Playoffs - Who Plays Who?

How does it work? Wild card team plays which team? How is this figured out?

2007 MLB Playoffs - Who Plays Who?

the wild card plays the team with the best record, unless the team with the best record is in the same division as the wildcard. if the season ended today the playoff's would look like this.

ALDS

Red Sox vs Indians

Angels vs Yankees

NLDS

Mets vs Cubs

Diamondbacks vs Brewers

at the moment the cubs and brewers are tied in the NL central, btu the brewers have a better divisional record so the cubs would be the wildcard.

2007 MLB Playoffs - Who Plays Who?opera mobile opera theaterThe cubs are not leading the wildcard right now, the Padres are. The wildcard really is between the Pads, the Dodgers, and possibly the Phillies, unless they collapse and both the Cubs and Brewers really get going. Report It

Greg - bigholycow is right. Only one of the two between Milw/Cubs would go to the playoffs -the division winner. The other one would go home since other teams have a better record for the wildcard. Report It

The wild card team plays the division winner with the best record, unless that team is from their own division, then they play the team with the second best record, the other teams remaining play each other.
Right now

American League RED SOX vs Yankees

Indians vs Angels

National League

Mets vs Padres

D-Backs vs Cubs

ALCS RED SOX vs Indinas

NLCS Cubs vs Mets

World Series Red Sox vs Cubs

2007 World Series Champions BOSTON RED SOX
