GH: The actor who plays Trevor Lansing: who is he??

I have SEEN this man somewhere before and it is eating me alive! I can't place where I've seen him. I went to Soap Central and the ABC General Hospital site and can't find out who plays him. If I could get the actor's name I could IMDB him. Thanks!!

The new guy who plays Trevor starting on August 22 is Stephen Macht.

Stephen has done a number of other television shows (mostly guest appearances, so only one or two episodes of each), and has become one of Hollywood's "Oh it's that guy" 'cause he is recognizable from those many appearances but not many know his name. Some RECENT shows you may have seen him in are: "The Wedding Bells," "State of Mind," "Boom Town," "JAG," "Melrose Place," "Walker Texas Ranger," and "Boston Public," but he was also a contract regular on "Jack %26amp; Jill" a few years ago, as well as appearing several times (but always portraying different characters) on "Murder She Wrote."

The one who plays or played Trevor Lansing is actor Matt Amshey. But that was from 1999 until 2000. He was on 5 episodes of the show.

I thought he looked familiar too, so I checked him out. Stephen Macht played the recurring role of David on Cagney and Lacey back in the early 80's. He was one of Cagney's boyfriends. Hope this helps!
