seriously its ONLY when he plays chess on yahoo and there is 4 other people in the house and ALL of us get LAAG BAD on whatever it is we are doing every time. why should a useless little game like chess cause so much bandwidth to be absorbed???

Useless???? Chess playing has many purposes, not the least of which is becoming better at playing chess. Get more bandwidth. The better question is why are we stuck with wires designed for telephones 50 years ago for data transmission in this country instead of fibre optics?
